Title Screen: Title Menu: Make Synonym
Synonyms are used when a topic is known by more than one name (e.g.:
Nursemaid's Elbow and Radial Head Subluxation). This feature lets you create synonyms.
When the Manager Mode is turned on, check to see that the View Title Info from
the Title Screen is checked. With this setting, you will see information for
the currently highlighted title. This will tell you if it is a parent or a
synonym.
A PARENT describes the first title given to an instruction. A SYNONYM is the
additional titles given to the same instruction. Parents and Synonyms all
reference the same document. Therefore you can select either type of title to open
the document which these refer to for the purpose of editing.
