ADJUSTING THE PRESCRIPTION FORM

Some states specify the exact layout of the prescription form. As a User, you will be able to make some limited adjustments to the Rx template. The following example is the method for adjusting the layout for the state of Missouri.

Note: You will not be able to re-insert any fields once they are removed. You cannot copy and paste fields.

  1. In the User Title List (not the Original title List), select the topic ",RX". This is the template screen for your prescriptions. You can edit it from Manager Mode. You can change the Title list from Original to User from File Menu | Settings.

  2. Select Title Menu | Edit Instruction. This will open the Rx template.

  3. You may highlight any field (for example, the "Substitute OK" fields), and delete them with the Delete key.

  4. Place the cursor at the end of the signature line and hit Enter to move the "State License" terms down. Since this puts the Attending MD field out of place, you will need to remove it by highlighting it and hitting the Delete key. Highlight the entire lines for the "License" and "DEA" terms and use the Tab inserts from the ruler bar to adjust the positioning here.

  5. Click on OK button to save your work. See sample modified form below.

  6. If you make a mistake and want to recover the original form, with Manager Mode ON, select ",RX" then choose Title Menu | Reset to Original State.

NOTE: In making these modifications, you give up the Attending MD field. This means the Attending MD's name will not be printed on each prescription, although, their State License and DEA numbers will be printed, if you have input this information in the Setup Menu | Attending MD List (Manager Mode must be ON). If you want the Attending MD name to print, or if you require other changes that you cannot accomm
