User Name
Set this only if you are using Exit-Writer on a network.
Current Title List
Exit-Writer is shipped with two Title Lists:
- The Original Title List: This contains the instruction set distributed by Parker Hill Associates.
This cannot be modified, although you can use this to select and print and to
recover the original document after changes have been made.
- The User Title List: This represents a clone of the Original Title List but this list can be
modified by the user when in Manager Mode.
Current User Group
Select the User Group to which this workstation belongs. This applies only to
network use where there is more than one workgroup.
Turn on Key Search Message
This feature is helpful for Novice Users and gives a message when there is no
match with the keys pressed and the titles in the Title List.
Turn on Novice Help
This feature provides on-screen display of the basic operating directions for
the Title and Custom Screen. This is useful for environments where there are
users with minimal familiarity with the program functions.
Partially Disable R-click
When running this software under Windows 95 there is a conflict that causes
the R-click to bring up the wrong pop-up menu when the cursor is on certain
fields on the Custom Screen. This feature prevents this. It should be turned on
only by Windows 95/98 users.
