Note: This Tab is only visible in Manager Mode.

This feature allows you to set the custom features of your spellchecker. Spellchecking is not available in the Lite version of Exit-Writer.

Directory Paths

Each user who performs a spell check will have a custom user dictionary created within their own user directory. The filename is Usereng.dic and Userspan.dic. These fields should be left blank unless there is a problem locating your dictionary when using the program.

The default path is C:\EWWIN\[User directory]\Usereng.dic for the English custom dictionary; and C:\EWWIN\[User directory]\Userspan.dic for the Spanish custom dictionary. These files can be opened and edited with any standard wordprocessor (such as Word or WordPerfect).

Note that the original dictionaries (MainEng.dic and MainSpan.dic and American.vtd and Spanish.vtd) supplied with the software cannot be modified. All additions and modifications to the dictionaries are stored in the custom dictionaries only.
