File Menu: Setting: Rx Tab
Disable Rx-Writer
This setting turns off the prescription-writing function permanently until the
box is unchecked again.
Print Rx File Copy
With this feature turned ON, every time an Rx is printed, a File Copy of the
Rx will also be printed. This is independent of the number of copies has been
selected from Printer Setup which applies only to the instruction documents
themselves.
Default Create-Rx Setting
These are global settings and apply as the default for all prescriptions
created. Each of these features can be turned off and on for each drug prescribed
from within the Rx-Writer.
Add Drug Instruction
With this box checked, the corresponding drug instruction will be added to the
Print List. The Instruction Topic added is designated from the Drug Edit
screen in Manager Mode.
Do Not Substitute
These words will always print on the Rx when this box is checked.
Rx has own Page
If you create prescriptions for more than one drug, they will be listed three
to a page unless this box is checked. Then, each drug will appear on one Rx
page.
Drug Name Lockout
When this feature is selected, prescriptions may not be created for any drug
that is not already in the Rx Drug List -- unless you are in Manager Mode. The
purpose of this is to prevent unauthorized persons from misusing the program
to create illegal prescriptions for controlled substances. To accomplish this,
you would need to remove all or selected controlled substances from the Drug
List.
Note: The Rx feature is not available in the Lite version of Exit-Writer.
