File Menu: Save Data
SAVE USER DATA
This command creates a Save directory under the subdirectory for the current
User name, EWWIN\[user name]\SAVE. It looks for a file named Saveuser.txt for
the names of files in the current user directory to save. If it finds no
Saveuser.txt file, then ; saves the following files:
EWSET.INI [program settings for current user]
USERSPAN.DIC [custom user dictionary in Spanish]
USERENG.DIC [custom user dictionary in English]
SAVE PROGRAM DATA
This function will backup critical files to the Ewwin\SAVE subdirectory. Each
time you install an update, critical files are saved. However, it is also
important to perform Saves after making edits to the database of instructions,
attendings, referrals, phrases or prescriptions.
You should also copy the files from the Save directory onto a floppy disk or
another computer as insurance against loss of data from your hard disk.
This feature saves the following files:
DATA\DEVLIST.MDB [Tile list database]
DATA\USER.MDB [User settings database]
EWSET.INI [program settings contained in EWWIN directory]
LICENSE.INI [License file]
USERENG.DIC [custom user dictionary in Spanish]
USERSPAN.DIC [custom user dictionary in English]
